Give Your Trash A New Life
Macomb's branch of BTS includes a recycling
facility that processes single stream recycling. Single stream recycling
material is recycling material that must be sorted at BTS. BTS employs over
50 people to sort material on two separate shifts. Currently BTS is recycling
over 2,000,000 pounds per year and growing.
Types Accepted:

Guides for Recycling:

Cans: |
 |
Rinse and remove lids on aluminum,
tin or metal cans that have contained food or beverages. Labels do not have
to be removed. |

Glass: |
|
Remove lids and rinse unbroken glass.
|
|
Paper: |
|
Must be dry and unbundled. |
|
Plastic: |
|
Remove all caps and rinse out
containers. |
|
Cardboard: |
|
Only corrugated cardboard is accepted.
Please discard the packing material. |

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon
